404 peugeot restoration

A simple restoration: another car inherited from one of my brothers a long time ago. It's the Dinky Junior version, a cheaper version without windows and interior.

Aston Martin "007" CORGI

I just finished to restore this Aston Martin DB5 by Corgi. It belonged to one of my younger brother who was famous to destroye his toys. I save it from total destruction before it was too late. he "repainted" with black ink, get rid of the tires but all the mechanisms were fortunately intact. Only the ejectable seat was broken. I found a replica to replace it along with a set of original tires. As I had to repaint it I choose to do it in metallic silver (like in the movies) instead of the original gold color. The gold color had been chosen by Corgi to match the release of the new James Bond movie GOLDfinger.

Delahaye 135 M Convertible

Conversion of a Delahaye 135 M from RIO in a 135 M convertible.

The base for this transformation is the Delahaye 135 from RIO ( the blue one in the pictures ) I sawed off the top. I replaced the seats by a set from a Solido "age d'or". The canvas top come also from a Solido. I detailed and painted all the plastic parts. I stripped the body and repainted in two tone color.  I got rid off the white wall on the tires and voila!
