Après la guerre la reconstruction du pays n'a pas permis de redémarrer la fabrication automobiles avant 1947 et souvent on ne reprenait que des modèles d'avant guerre comme la juvaquatre ou la traction .En ce qui concerne les modèles sportifs les marques célèbres comme Delahaye Salmson Talbot ou Bugatti ont seulement rafraichis leur modèles vieillissants d'avant 1939.Il y avait d'autres priorités et toutes ces marques ont disparues petit a petit au cours des années cinquante. Les grandes marques ont ignorés ce marche pour ne faire que des versions coupés ou décapotables de leur berlines. elles avaient l'allure sportives mais pas les performances.

right away.we had to wait 1947 to see the fist cars out of the factories.First it was pre war models like the Renault Juvaquatre or the Traction Citroen. Sport cars company -as Delahaye Talbot or Bugatti- only refresh their pre 1939 models. There was other priority and all these brands disappear little by little during the fifties.Big companies ignored this segment of the market to make only coupe or convertible versions of their sedans. they may look sporty but without the performances
